Responsibilities:
- Design and develop device drivers and kernel modules for Linux-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
- Conduct driver and kernel module debugging and testing.
- Optimize performance and enhance functionality of existing drivers and kernel modules.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure proper hardware integration.
- Stay updated with the latest Linux kernel developments and apply them to improve our products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues related to device drivers and kernel modules.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers and internal teams.
- Document driver and kernel module development processes and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in C & C++.
- Understanding of Linux internals and kernel programming.
- Knowledge of Linux kernel APIs and subsystems.
- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Familiarity with Linux build systems and version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
