Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Dot Net Development with MVC: The ideal candidate should have a background in this area.
- Software Solutions Design and Development: Assist in designing and developing software using various Dot Net frameworks.
- Full Software Life Cycle and Design Methodology: Utilize understanding of the full software life cycle and strong knowledge in design methodology, including UML.
- Coding: Perform coding according to written technical specifications.
- Maintenance Programming: Perform maintenance programming and correct identified defects.
- Unit Testing: Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
- Development Platform Support: Assist in supporting and growing development platforms.
- Business Development Support: Support business development activities and understand the Amla Commerce quality process.
- Application Development: Develop applications based on customer requirements and industry standards.
- Defect Resolution: Interact with test/quality assurance engineers to reproduce defects and provide fixes as needed.
- Client Interaction: Interact with clients to identify their needs and define project objectives.
- Research and Usability Testing: Research standard extensions/solutions for common business applications and perform usability testing and assessments.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction, participate in client calls for status updates, and update junior team members for rapid delivery.
Required Skills:
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, MCA, or equivalent.
- Experience in web development using .Net framework, .NET Core, and Azure.
- Skillset required: ASP.Net with C#, REST APIs, JSON, XML, UML modeling.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Working knowledge of IIS web server.
- JavaScript, SSL, XHTML, CSS, AJAX.
- Experience working with an offshore-onsite development process.
