We are hiring “Android Developer (2-3 Yrs. Exp.)” for a permanent position with one of our golden clients for the Pune location.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in developing mobile applications for the Android platform. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications to meet our company’s needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform while adhering to development best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Utilize the latest Android platform features and APIs to ensure applications are fast, secure, and scalable.
• Integrate various communication protocols such as BLE, Zigbee, and WiFi into Android applications to interact with external hardware devices.
• Implement audio and video processing and recording functionalities within applications, ensuring high-quality audio capture and manipulation.
• Develop immersive augmented reality experiences using AR toolkits, enhancing user interaction and engagement.
• Manage application publishing and update processes on the Google Play Store, including beta testing, tracking user feedback, and optimizing app performance based on user data.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in Android development, new technologies, and best practices to incorporate into projects as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development with at least 2-3 years of experience in Native Android app development.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Must have hands-on experience in integrating with hardware components via BLE, Zigbee, WiFi, etc.
• Proficient in audio processing and recording within Android applications.
• Experience in developing AR applications using ARCore, Vuforia, or similar toolkits.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
