Role Description
This is a role for an Application Developer at ergLocale. The Application Developer will handle software development, programming, and integration tasks. The role is based in Bangalore, with some flexibility for remote work.
As an Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our platform. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to create seamless and efficient mobile applications that offer superior user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Flutter applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Integrate Google Maps and other location-based services into the app.
- Utilize Postman for API testing and integration.
- Implement JWT for secure authentication.
- Develop and manage WebSocket connections for real-time data communication.
- Deploy and manage mobile app releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Ensure the application meets quality standards and follows the company’s design guidelines.
Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Flutter Developer and proficiency in Dart programming language.
- Strong experience with Google Maps integration in mobile apps.
- Familiarity with API integration and testing using Postman.
- Experience with secure authentication mechanisms, including JWT.
- Proficient in implementing and managing WebSocket connections.
- Solid understanding of the mobile development lifecycle and design principles.
- Experience with app deployment processes for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Proficiency with Git version control.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with mobile frontends.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cloud services like Firebase or AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment.
- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
