Job Description:
- Maintain websites written in React/NextJS or equivalent libraries.
- Engage with the development team and other stakeholders.
- Follow detailed instructions to complete tasks, working independently or as part of a team.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with frontend applications and a good knowledge of modern frontend technologies.
- Experience working with website builders and CMS such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, or similar tools.
- Ability to work with and create plugins/extensions for a CMS & proficient in React/NextJS, along with Typescript.
- Knowledge of using Vercel, integrating with REST APIs & Storyblok.
- Proficient in using SCSS with Tailwind is an added bonus.
- An understanding of integrating 3rd party software into existing websites.
- Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, cross-device compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Ability to rapidly prototype web applications to showcase new concepts and ideas.
- Ability to communicate with clients and support our integrations & suggest new technologies.
- Ability to estimate the duration and level of effort of development tasks.
- Some exposure to CI/CD best practices.
- Ability to meet deadlines, and work independently and within a team, with clear reporting and focus on results.
- Willing to work 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM IST, Monday to Friday.
Must-Have Skills:
- Git, NPM, Yarn.
- Node JS.
- Typescript.
- React/NextJS.
- Ability to build React apps that consume content from an API (headless CMS).
- Maintain content in a CMS (Storyblok).
- Understanding of CMS plugins and extensions and how to build them.
